Susan Dubin

Susan Dubin started working with Meeting Your Needs first as a client and then as anassociate. Her specialty is working with Jewish organizations and includes full conference planning services including helping with registration, programming, and scheduling speakers. As a client of Meeting Your Needs, Susan was local and national conference planner for Association of Jewish Libraries. She later went on to become the Association of Jewish Libraries’ international president from 2008-2010.

In addition to working on conference planning, Susan is the library consultant to the Sperling Kronberg Mack Holocaust Resource Center located in Las Vegas. This position led her to work with the World Federation of Jewish Child Holocaust Survivors and Descendants, Generations of the Shoah International, and Association of Holocaust Organizations in organizing their international conferences.

When not working, Susan likes to travel. She and her husband take at least one major trip a year. They have visited London, Southern England, Rome, Venice, Lake Cuomo, Budapest, Vienna, Salzburg, Prague, Berlin, Montreal, Quebec, Cancun, Ixtapa. They have also travelled throughout Spain, France, Turkey, Vancouver Island, China, and most of the United States. Last year, they took their oldest granddaughter to England. Next year, they plan to take their second oldest granddaughter on a “Grandparent trip” to Paris.

If Susan is not working or travelling, she is most likely reading. As an award-winning librarian, Susan can’t resist a good book!
